With the functionality named dependencies, it is possible to make document selections dependent of other selections. This is useful as the user only have to consider the relevant selections, based on previous selections made. ....
The selection dependencies can also be described as parent selections with its children. The parents will decide whether or not the children are accessible in the document. If the parent is not enabled nor will the children.
In order to make a selection dependent on another selection, you must, as an admin, open DocumentWorkflow Builder and choose a title you would like to make dependent on another title.
1) Click on the dependent icon
2) Choose another title it should be dependent on.
As visualized below, you now have the opportunity to choose if the dependent selection should be relevant/visible to the user.
In the example below, there is a rule for 'location' only to be shown, if the Sales department is chosen (1). This means that the 'location' selection will be visible if the user adds the sales department to the document (2), and not the other departments (3).
When the rules are made, click save changes. In the DocumentWorkflow Builder, the icon has now changed and will look as visualized below.
